IYKYK. This place was everything that was genuinely cool about the East End — full of art and treasures, collages and secrets. From 1966 to 2002 The Hansom House hosted cult favorite bands like The Suns of Jubal to legends like Muddy Waters. The town of Southampton gave them such a hard time about their outdoor bar and firepit (which were safe and a wonderful place to hang out) that they eventually shut down. Just like so many other iconic places out here. Remember the fig leaf in the women's bathroom?
